Danny seeing Max floundering decided he had better help. ‘It’s my fault Ma. You see I’ve got a temporary job, in Blackpool. I asked Max if he would like to come along too, I thought he might enjoy having a working holiday, only if you could spare him of course. However, your news changes things; I guess you need him here.’

‘How long, this time off?’ Ma asked.

‘Six to eight weeks, possibly,’ Max said. ‘I could get someone to fill in for me, but it doesn’t matter now anyway, you need me here. Forget about it Ma.’
